VALDOSTA, GA (WALB)- The Valdosta State Marriage and Family Therapy Program is offering free therapy services.
You can get help dealing with anger issues, divorce, depression, or substance abuse. V-S-U's Therapy Program is set up for group therapy, couples, children, anyone who needs someone to talk to.
Students working toward their master's degrees serve as the therapists.
"When I say free we truly are a non-profit, we're connected with the university of course, and so we do try to take in a few dollars for Kleenex and that sort of thing. But the bottom line for us is that no one is turned away for an inability to pay," said Dr. Martha Laughlin, professor and therapist.
Doors are open to the public seven days a week. To schedule an appointment call 229-219-1281.
