Adult prom to benefit United Way of Valdosta
News

VALDOSTA, GA- Tomorrow night is prom night for some south Georgians, but it's not your average prom.

This dance will allow adults to relive their high school days while raising money for the United Way of Greater Valdosta.

Ten community leaders will compete for the title of king and queen. Each vote will cost a dollar that will go to United Way.

The event will include food, prizes, music, and maybe even some glam rock outfits.

"You know if you graduated in the 80's, then you'll have the 80's, 90's, 70's, 60's, you know if it still fits, we'll wear it," said Bobby Yarbrough, Director of United Way of Greater Valdosta.

The Adult Prom will be at The Loft inside the City Market downtown at 7 p.m. on Saturday August 25th. Tickets are $75 dollars a couple. You can purchase them by calling (229)-242-2208.
