VALDOSTA, Ga. - A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new 93d Air Ground Operations Wing and 23d Mission Support Group Headquarters building is scheduled for this morning at 5090 Gardner Street, suite 115.

The new $10.2 million building will house the 93d Air Ground Operations Wing and 23d Mission Support Group commanders' offices, as well as the Moody AFB Command Post.

Additionally, it will include the 23d Wing Public Affairs, Plans and Programs, Area Defense Counsel, Air Force Smart Operations, Information Protection, and Equal Opportunity offices.

The building is environmentally certified as a LEED "Silver" workplace.

LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and is the standard for "green" building designs.
