VSU advances to Super Regionals | News

VALDOSTA, GA-

Number one ranked Valdosta State had to fight their way to the NCAA DII Super Regionals.

The Lady Blazers lost to Rollins 3-0 nothing in a game resumed from Sunday.

So, the two teams had to play a second game.

Courtney Gunby pitches a four hit shutout to win the regional for the Lady Blazers 1-0.

Morgan Johnson's single in the third inning drove in the only run of the game.

VSU will host Florida Southern in best two out of three super regional series that begins Friday at Valdosta State.
