Glisson earns GSC player of year | News
VALDOSTA, GA- Valdosta State designated hitter Christian Glisson has been named the Gulf South Conference player of the year.
The former Lowndes Viking led the conference in hitting, doubles and was second in homeruns.
Catcher Bryant Hayman from Waycross is the Gulf South Conference freshman of the year.
Glisson and Hayman are two of five Blazers to earn first team all-conference honors.
The other three Blazers are pitcher Kevin Rogers, second baseman Marc Overstreet and outfielder Cameron Graves.
VSU will play North Alabama in the first round of the GSC baseball tournament Friday night in Rome. @
