We are in the planning stages for the Downtown Moultrie Bazaar & Farmer’s Market set for Saturday, October 8, 2011.  

We picked this date so we could participate in the “100 Mile Peanut Picking Yard Sale” that will start in Cordele and end in Quitman. 

Downtown Moultrie is included on the map for the 100 mile event.

Chronically truant students are not the only students negatively impacted by absences.  

For students who are in the 6th grade through the 9th grade, attendance is a better predictor of dropping out of school than test scores.
