Valdosta City School Foundation names executive director | Families
VALDOSTA, GA – News release from Valdosta City Schools
Valdosta City Schools Foundation is pleased to announce the naming of an Executive Director, Beth Anne Trombetta. Mrs. Trombetta is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Her professional career has focused on association and non-profit management, including a designation as a Certified Meeting Professional.
She is also involved in the Valdosta community where she serves on the networking task force of MetroOne, a local young professionals’ network, and as the hospitality chair of the Center for the Arts Guild at the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts.
Mrs. Trombetta will work to further the tradition of excellence for Valdosta City Schools in areas that are not funded by the regular school program by creating partnerships and seeking tax deductible donations for the Foundation.
The Valdosta City Schools Foundation was founded in 2000 and is an independent, community based, non-profit organization dedicated to state-of-the art education for all children and young people of Valdosta City Schools.
The Foundation office is located at 1204 Williams Street in the Teaching and Learning Department of the Valdosta Board of Education building.
